Eight horses will run but only 1 will win. The race lasts for a little over a mile and before starting time, you can place your bets on Win Odds, Place Odds, Lay Odds, Quinellas, Exactas, Trifectas or combine your bets to increase your returns. All Place bets double your stake. Half of the bet is placed on your selected horse to win outright while the other half goes to a bet involving a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finish at 1/5 of the Win Odds. In the case of your horse finishing first, you win both bets, and, if your horse loses, you lose your Win bet but win the top places bet (i.e. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place finish). If your horse finishes 4th or more you lose the entire bet.

You can also bet on a horse to lose the race; a losing horse does not come first. This is a lay bet. To bet on the horses you think will finish 1st or 2nd or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, then you are looking to place an Exacta/Quinella or a Trifecta respectively.

After you have selected your horses, you simply click on the ‘Add to bet slip’ option to take you to your bet slip where you will be able to see your bet(s) listed. You can remove bets at any time. You cannot, however, place multiple bets of the same type on the same horse(s).The ‘Submit bets and view race’ button confirms your bets and proceeds to the race. A race card is available for you to view your bets all throughout the race. At the end of the race, photos of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place positions are taken.
