Roulette

Roulette is one of the oldest gambling games around and by far one of the most popular games played online. The object of Roulette is simple. You place your bets on the Roulette table on those numbers/ in those spaces where you think the ball will land, and, if the ball lands where your bets were placed, you win.

While the object is pretty simple, the strategy is a bit more complex. Different numbers, groups of numbers, and spaces on the Roulette table have different payouts. Some bets pay more than others but at the same time some bets should never be played, because the probability of winning is very low. You should know which numbers makes the most sense to play.

To begin, select your chip value using the chip selector and then select the area of the table on which you wish to place a bet. The stake will increase as you add more chips to oen bet. Press ‘SPIN’ to put the wheel in motion and let the ball loose. When the wheel stops spinning, the ball will land on a number. If you bet on that number, depending on your bet, you will be paid out as follows:

  • The Single Number Bet. The odds on this bet are 35/1 and it pays 36.00 on a winning number.
  • The Column Bet. This bet is placed on any of the 3 columns of 12 numbers running horizontally across the table. If the ball lands on a number you had bet on, you will be paid out at 2/1. If “0″ comes up on any column bet, you lose.
  • The Dozen Bet. This bet is placed on the outside boxes marked 1st, 2nd and 3rd 12 and indicates that Player chooses to bet on numbers 1 to 12, numbers 13 to 24, and/or numbers 25 to 36. A winning Dozen Bet pays out at 2/1. If “0″ comes up on any dozen bet, you lose.
  • A Red or Black bet is one where the Player bets that either a black or red number will be the next winning number. It pays even money. If “0″ comes up on these bet types, you lose.
  • An Odd or Even Bet. This works the same way as a Red or Black Bet. It is a bet where the Player bets that either an odd or even number will be the next winning number. It pays even money. If a “0″ comes up, you lose.
  • A High or Low number bet. This is a bet where a Player bets that the next winning number will either be 1 to 18, as in teh case of a Low box or 19 to 36, as in the case of a High box. The odds are even money. A Player loses this bet, if the number “0″ comes up.
  • The Split or Two Number bet. When a Player bets on any line that divides any 2 adjacent numbers, he is betting that those 2 numbers will come up. This bet is placed on any line that divides any two adjacent numbers. The bet is that either of those 2 numbers will come up and, if they do, the odds are 17/1.
  • The Street bet. This is commonly referred to as the Row Bet and is a bet placed on the 3 numbers in a row on the table by placing the chosen chip/s on the outside of that row. If one of the 3 numbers comes up, you will be paid 11/1 odds.
  • The Corner Bet. When a Player bets on the intersection of 4 numbers, he is betting that one of these 4 numbers will come up on the next spin of the wheel. If it does, he will be paid out at 8/1 odds.
  • The Six Number Bet. Often called the Double Street Bet, this bet is placed on the outside of the line that splits two rows of numbers and will cover all 6 numbers. If one of the 6 numbers come up, you will be paid at 5/1 odds.

When you win, a pop up will appear showing the amounts won and winnings will be credited to your account after each spin.

Racetrack bets are also allowed. These allow Players to bet on groups of bets placed on the Roulette table at the same time. They include Red Splits, Black Splits, Les Voisons Du Zero, Tiers Du Cylindre, and Neighbours. With Neighbours, you are betting on your chosen number and the two numbers either side as they appear on the roulette wheel. The Total Chips Bet on Neighbours is 5 chips.
